Gas & Electric Aggregation Program

Alexandria is part of a voter-approved county program that negotiates on behalf of residents to provide competitive natural gas and electric rates. You continue to receive service from your local utility -- Columbia Gas for natural gas and AEP Ohio for electric -- with the benefits of a group rate.

All residential and eligible small businesses within the Village of Alexandria are automatically enrolled in both programs. You do not need to take any action to receive the group rate.

Who Is Automatically Enrolled?

Opt Out or Change Suppliers

You always have the right to opt out of the aggregation programs or choose another supplier at any time. To opt out, call Columbia Gas or AEP, provide your account information, and request to be removed from the County aggregation program.

Trash Collection & Recycling Services

Alexandria residents have access to reliable trash collection and convenient recycling opportunities. Find information about residential waste service, recycling locations, collection schedules, and accepted materials below. The Village works with local service providers and Licking County Recycling to help keep our community clean and environmentally responsible.

Residential Trash Service

Residential trash service is provided through WIN Waste. Residents can establish new service, manage existing accounts, get information about collection schedules and billing, and pay online.

Recycling Drop-Off Site

The Alexandria / St Albans recycling drop off site is located just outside the Village in Fireman's Park on SR 37. Recycling containers are serviced through the Licking County Recycling Program.
