Alexandria's elected Mayor and Village Council work together to serve the community. Council approves legislation, budgets, and expenditures during public meetings, while the Mayor provides leadership and oversees the day-to-day administration of village government.

Village Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 pm in the Village Office located at 4 W. Main Street. All council meetings are open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend, participate, and stay informed about the decisions that affect our community.
